"Where is my fur?"

WHERE IS MY FUR?
DONAT

This story was born out of sincerity, care, and great love for children.

The story behind the creation of the book “Where Is My Fur?”

The author of the book is Myroslava Novosilska, a practicing trichologist who helps people restore healthy hair every day.

When the full-scale war in Ukraine began in 2022, many children turned to Myroslava with similar questions: “Why is my hair falling out? What’s wrong with me?” The little ones were experiencing stress that manifested physically, and they often didn’t understand what was happening. The number of messages and requests kept growing. Myroslava realized that these children needed not only a medical explanation but also emotional support — something that would help them feel they were not alone.

That was when the idea was born — to create a magical story in which a child could recognize themselves, find understanding, compassion, and faith that everything will be okay. In the author’s heart appeared Korzhyk — a little Pomeranian with a big heart who, like many children, is going through a difficult time. His fur starts to fall out, and it worries him deeply. But despite his fear, Korzhyk bravely decides to ask for help from the wise Dr. Fox. It is in her clinic that he finds not only care and support but also true friendship.

That’s how the book “Where Is My Fur?” was born — a kind and touching story about self-acceptance, friendship, and love. At first, it was created for Myroslava’s young patients, so that each of them would have a friend to stay by their side, even when the world felt too difficult. But very soon, the story grew beyond the trichologist’s office — and turned into a charitable project that has begun to be recognized all around the world.

Presentations of the book have already taken place in 16 countries, and everywhere it has found a response in the hearts of children and adults. After all, the topic raised by the book is universal - it is a story about inner strength, acceptance of change and faith in oneself, despite external circumstances.
